Carburetor issue

Hey guys, I've been poking around this forum for a while but finally joined here and I have an issue I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for.

I installed a new set of pipes and mufflers, as well as a k&n air filter. Being a carbureted bike I also bought a jet kit to match.

Well anyway, after installing everything I'm somehow not getting fuel through the carburetor to the rear cylinder. I have fuel to the bowl and the float appears to be working. I'll be honest, nothing was super complicated so I'm a little stumped as to why this is happening. Maybe I'm not quite understanding or I have missed something.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice!

Is the vacuum line to the petcock on correctly? This is all I know to suggest. I'm a one trick pony.

So I did hear that from someone on Facebook in a Superhawk group and it seems that may be the issue. I guess there are two places it can be attached to but it needs to be on the horizontal port, not the bottom vertical port.

I'll be honest, it's a bit of a facepalm moment for me as I was super careful to make sure everything went back like it should. 🤦‍♂️😑

Chick to see if the slide diaphragm is sealed properly against the carb body and lid. The resulting vacuum leak can prevent the slide from lifting, which prevents the needle from lifting, starving the cylinder of fuel (should idle relatively ok though)

This ended up being my problem. I found a thread on here actually that didn't come up in my other searches that suggested that. I had it on the bottom vertical "port" not the back horizontal port it's supposed to be on.

This was my initial thought, that I had this incorrectly. I had a little trouble getting the springs back in and then like you said the diaphragm to sit right around the seal. As it turns out I had it al right the first time. My issue was the petcock vacuum line.

Just an update on this. It was in fact the vacuum line on the tank. Thing fired right up no problem after putting that in the correct spot.
