Brake Tech 320mm rotor upgrade

Hi Everyone,

Though I’d ask to see if theres any interest in group buy for upgrading with 320mm RC51 rotors from Brake Tech. We would need 4 other people to get this done.

I have an original set of Brake Tech 320mm iron rotors with caliper adaptors using RC51 calipers & master cylinder. Can’t beat the stopping power.

To do this now they need to make a few mods to mount the rotors and caliper adapters. Total cost per bike with iron rotors $825, stainless $750.

Anyone interested? Send a PM

A couple of questions. What about the offset difference? Does the caliper bracket adapter fix that difference? While the bolt diameter is the same, what I believe is called the bore diameter is very different, 94.3mm on the RC and 58mm on the SH. How will the carrier bolt to the SH wheel? Is a custom carrier going to be part of the package?
Not trying to be a wet blanket, but these are questions that my limited understanding is asking

they would be made with an adaptor to bolt to the wheel and include an offset caliper bracket. I have the original setup Jeff made which included the caliper bracket but the rotors bolted directly to the wheel.

He is making iron full floaters in 298mm that replace the original SH rotors if you’re interested!!! I just wanted the 320mm setup. I might go fro the 298mm because the iron rotors are fantastic and being full floaters whats not to like,

I ran the 298mm Cobras (stainless) for quite some time and enjoyed them (especially when mated to Zcoo pads). Am currently running the 310mm CMCs (for CBR600RR front wheel) and love those too. BT makes great stuff!
