Any significant difference between...

K&N and BMC air filters in the way of performance and quality?

Thanks.

I love my K&N, is seamed to give me quicker throttle responce and a little more hp up top. I use to have a pair of D&D slip-ons on my bike..... talk about loud and ballzy. I use to be able to do second gear wheelies at 30 mph with out clutching it up! K&N's are worth it, it's the only filter you'll ever have to buy for the rest of your bikes life.

I've heard good things about BMC but don't have any personal experience with them. They make more power than the K&N on the 1000RR but then this ain't a 1000RR is it?

lol, Nope, totally different animal. Common logic has me thinking the more popular one (K&N) must be the better performing filter but asking is always better than assuming I reckon.

Thanks.
