04-07 CBR1000 Front Brake Lines ?

Hi all, just wanted to check if any one would know if 04-07 cbr1000 front brake lines would fit on a sp1 with superbike bars ? So if any one can measure the standard lines ( 1 line then splits into 2 lines ) that would be a great help. Thanks.

o.k i did some searching, 1000rr forks - 702mm long, vtr superhawk forks - 777mm long, & sp1 fork length is the same as superhawk fork length ?????????

I dont know if any of these measurments are correct !?

So if this is correct the 04-07 cbr1000 brake lines i would be guessing will be way too short.

Any help out there to confirm this would be a big help. Thanks.

Sorry I deleted my prev message and the measurements I took. On further inspection I believe the lines I have are off a 600rr, not a 1k. The calipers may be the same but I'm assuming the lines aren't as the aftermarket ones have different part #'s. How much the lengths differ I dont know. If you still want the 600rr measurements let me know. I'm sure someone on here has a 1000rr that could measure them for you.

Thanks for the reply Captainchaos, I have a complete SP1 front end that i want to put on my Firestorm streetfighter project & have the chance to buy a set of cheap ss goodridge brake lines for a 04-07 cbr1000rr. Just need to know if these will fit, but can not get intouch with the seller to confirm length.

I measured the stock CBR1000 brake lines that I just installed on my fork swap. From the MC to the right side fender mount were the lines split is 18", from that junction point 8" down to the right caliper.

when I put superbike bars on mine I used the 2inch additional length (that would be from the MC to the splitter if using a T-piece line). The splitter to caliper (unless using radial calipers) would be about the same. If using radial calipers the mount is lower and need an additional inch or so. With the 2 inch longer I have not had a problem with superbike bars or going back to clipons..

Thanks for measuring GRNELL, 18"+8"=26", iv been told i need 31"-32" inch long for SP1 forks with motocross bars, so i think i will pass on buying them, they will just be too short.
