what do you call the rubber coating on the tank, windscreen, etc?
This is a dumb question - but I have to ask it someplace...
What do you call the rubberized or fabric tape (?) stuff they put around edges on plastic fairings, or the edges of the gas tank, or the top of your windscreen? You know, the semi-circular stick-on whatchamacallit that covers the edge and protects you from scrapes?
The stuff on my tank (near the front of the seat) is worn out and looks terrible, but I cannot seem to find the name in order to buy some replacement... whateverthehell it is.

You can find it a bike suppliers as well marketed as faring edge cover.
