RC51 fairings on a SH?

Now, I did a search for this already (so don't slam me by saying do a search) but it would not show any pictures. I've been thinkig about putting RC51 fairings on but i did not know if it would work, and now that I read that somebody has done it, I was just wondering if any body had some pictures so that I can see how it looks before i do it? Also get an idea of how to do it?

Give me a link to that thread if you don't mind. I don't recall having seen that one and I'm the Admin. Maybe it wasn't this forum?

The only RC51 fairing I've seen installed on a superhawk was a rear cowl. The guy had a marine corps scheme paint job if that rings a bell.

I've never seen a front and I did consider it myself but the mounting points are different. You'd, of course, want to run the 51 headlights which most likely necessitate the upper stay, thus possibly requiring new instruments thus requiring.....

I've seen a couple on ebay. One was a racebike with everything done to it a couple years ago. Badass (especially at the time) with the inverted front end, braced swingarm, reinforced frame, worked engine. His was done right. Another was more recent and was less than perfect. But it showed they do fit, I guess you just have to fab up your own mounts.

Ok, I think i'm going to do it, it will take me some time though, as i'm going to be putting a r1 tail on it as well, (i want the undertail exhaust). But if anybody has any pictures they come across, please post them as i would still like to see how it looks. I will also post some pictures when i get it done.

I went this route with my current 96 VFR. Added a cbr600rr front end and a VTEC VFR rear end (undertail exhaust). LOT of work and expense but I think it was worth it. It's the only one in the world like it.
