Need new turn signals.

Well, I took a spill last weekend, and the frame slider saved the bike.
The turn signal still lights up, but the plastic over it is smashed.

I'd like something like this http://www.vfxkits.com/c292317.2.html for turn signals, I just don't know which ones to get exactly since they seem to be for sale for the CBR's only... I figure one of them will fit.

This is for a 98' VTR.
Thanks.

how about these lights?
Anyone see these small LED' style lights in action? are they bright enough as turn signals?

I also want to change to flush mount turn signals and can't find a good drop in solution yet.

What are my choices that will not be Iffy or break the bank?

Those in the first link are just like the LED's I just picked up on ebay...

They fit very nice, and look good. They cover up the existing hole nicely too... Haven't really used them yet, other than lighting them up in the garage, but so far i'm happy with the look....

plus I got the LED rear now too, so they should have the same flash rate.

This is the same seller I purchased mine from, and can vouch for super fast shipping, and quality packaging...

The one's I just linked should be fine. I don't know of any major difference in the blinkers on the other model year SuperHawks... And the price is right... if somebody buy's that auction, just search RC51 in his ebay store, he's got several listings for them...

my experience w/ jagmotorcycle was different...

... i got those FM TS's in the link josh posted. they arrived two weeks later in a bubblepak envelope. upon test before install, one had no filament for turn. tried to find replacement bulb locally, no dice. emailed, epay messaged, and finally called for 3 days. waited a week and tried the same again. NO RESPONSE. finally had to tattle to epay and paymal. called again after dispute was started, answered first call (interesting) told story, response was "can't answer every call, email or message, i do thousands of transactions a month". sent bulb, worked, you get what you pay for, 15 dollar TS's. they are a tight fit. i'll prolly leave a neutral.

Those are the same ones that actually melted after 10 min.....
I suggest the LP IV medium.

Melted after 10min????????? or wait... melted... screw 10 min, they melted????????

where they hooked up correctly? hmmm... thats crazy.... I tested them, and they worked fine after install, but the bike is fairingless right now, so i don't have them on the bike... I guess I could give more feedback after a couple weeks of riding on them...

My forks will be back from Greg either tomorrow or Friday, so probably the weekend I'll put some miles on with them running.. we shall see.

Once you got them replaced, and problems with the lights themselves? just curious after the last comment about them melting

3-wire. had the "running" lights on. Yeah melted (the whole plastic "screw" portion). I think a few others on the forum expirienced the same problems.

when i got them, they looked pretty cheesy, so i just tested them out with a battery. one bulb was bad. took 3 weeks to get a bulb. i have to get some more mods on her (fork brace and hugger) before a long test, but they get warm just sitting in the carport.
