Yay or Nay

Trying to decide if I should put some mesh in these. Wish I had a piece to test the look with. Well here is a picture without mesh. I'll try and get some mesh soon.

Yeah...but paint the mesh black...it'll look better than silver mesh.

I'll be getting that hugger soon (in red), thanks to a hefty pay raise , and was just thinking about putting mesh in it. I think it'll look pretty sweet.

...actually....silver mesh might look cool. I like high contrast colors and black on silver would look good with all the other silver **** on the bike. Go for it!!

i wanted it red too...but it was available. i could paint it later if I decide I don't like the black. I think I'll go with the silver mesh. I'll post up as soon as I get it.

Cool....yeah...they sell out of red quick. So as soon as it appears...you gotta snag 'em.

Look at the side covers I made between the seat and frame. This is what he's referring to. Any color except black on the hugger would probably look bad after some use (road grime, chain spooge, etc) me thinks.

Be careful of tire clearance down the center of the tire on this. Mine rubbed slightly when I got my new tire a couple weeks ago. Not enough to ruin anything, but if I had a new chain, it might have. It was just annoying when pushing the bike around. That's all I've got.

I said I was PLANNING on getting one. And I would get it off eBay. The thing is, the red huggers sell out fast, leaving only the black and yellers...so you gotta snag 'em while their available.

Not to be a downer, but it seems to me that having mesh there will collect grime. I suppose it's not necessarily permanent, so if you find it grimey, just take it off, eh?
