Smile My Devil Exhaust

Hey,

Didn't see many pictures of a devil exhaust system on a vtr so I have a few pictures of my own to show.

They sound REALLY REALLY good with the baffles removed,

Look great and even better w/o p-peg. Do need undertail light w/signal you will love it how clean and show off the rear end look.

Yeah, I was thinking about removing them actually. I just ordered a lower belly pan from www.magicalracing.co.jp about 2 days ago. If it comes within a reasonable time, i was thinking about ordering the single seat along with purchasing the undertail too.

U should have order them at the same time, bcause It take a long time to get your order and the undertail lights signal-ebay is the gate or this forum did have web site 4 it. I have MR belly pan, rear hugger, 2 single seat cowls, 40mm racing seat pad; front fender, undertail+signal, front flush mount signal, clear puig db screen, RK 1down, 2 up + chain(weight saving), on the 3rd set of after market exhaust (mod Leo Vince from DUC 900ss baffle is very shot ex loud and save almost 10 lbs) front, rear 5 spoke wheels, galfer SS brake line, Frodo pads, 2nd set dunlop 208, carb sync and forks on it way to be done. Time, money and headache, but at least I only live once. DUC 1098 is next target.

If I might ask, how much and where did you get them from. These are the nicest high mounts I've seen yet. Any measured performance gains?

Yeah, did a Google search. Only found one place in the US that has them, and that was about the price. Just wondering if he got a good deal somewhere.

I ordered mine directly off the devil website --> http://www.devilbikes.com/
I told them that there price was a little more than a distributor so they gave me them for that price. All in all, I think I paid about $950 CAN for them, shipping and all. It took quite awhile for me to get them though, about 2 months. They had to get them into the states and then ship it to me. Definately worth it though.

I just got my seat cowl back from paintshop, color looks closed to pearl yellow manf but under white light not match well 75/100. MR plastics parts will take 6 to 10 weeks to be home. Oh well It totally worth it for their craftmanship, plus custom inspection now 180% elert to USA.

With the MR single seat cowl, you think any manufacturer's undertail will work? I was thinking about mototeck undertail.

On each one of mine on the end of the exhaust, there is a removable baffle held in by a pop rivet on the underneath. I just drilled that one out and it slid out.
You'll be happy you did, the sound is more deeper. And if your not happy about it, you can always put it back in and put a nut and bolt through the pop rivet hole. That is ofcourse if your devil exhaust is like mine.

Shouldn't be hard to spot though.

I think Devil may have changed the cans over the last couple of years. There is a 600rr with a devil exhaust and he can remove his baffel like what you are saying.

I see, maybe the older one doesn't have a removable baffle.

Hey Dave,

That sounds kool. I live in Fort McMurray which is about 4 hours away from Edmonton. I was actually thinking about heading down to Edmonton for a trip this summer. Should be lots of fun.

Smile The "Devil pipes" made me do it

Hey again;

Sounds good...I'm helping organize a B.C to Ontario fund raiser ride this summer..Haven't got he dates at home, but I think it's about July 19-August 4..somewhere in there...across the Prairies can be a little ho-hum but B.C. and Ontario are sport bike territory, if you want info let me know..I'm sure I will ride up to see my daughter this summer..I'm heading to the shop to "tinker" with mine right now... So far this winter...bafflectomy, shimmed carbs, re-painted lower fairing, all new fluids..clean and lubed all cables, cleaned all electrical connectors..apllied di-electric grease, removed PAIR system.. next..install new APE CCT's..new airfilter, new plugs, new tires and paint rims black..and start riding soon I hope..

Take Care
Dave
