some pics with new paint
heres the final result of my painting, kept the body yellow, fender windshield and tail black and undertail yellow. i think it looks sexy

and here you see how well the tail matches the curves of the tank, i just need to find somethign better to hold it down with and ill be set

Thanks man. Go for it. Just wait till the off season. I don't know about you guys but our weather changed a week ago drastically and as long as it stays were gonna have one hell of a riding season. I didn't plan on going out till may and I was out last week.

how is your plate secured? i had a swing arm mount but didnt like it at all i refuse to put it up under the tail...i like that idea.

It goes onto the axle bolt. If I remember to when I get home ill take a pic of the mount. I believe kapsco.com. Has similar mounts for like 20 bucks

gixxerjohn yanked them off his buddies gixxer, lol. not sure where he got them from but i believe theyre a universal mirror that seems to fit the gixxers and our bikes as they have a slotted opening. also theyre a little wider than stock making seeing behind me easier. maybe he ll chime in here with a better answer

its from ebay, its gixxer specific.

also the other day a friend of mine told me he ordered the same mirrors for his r6 off ebay so its worth a look
