Colorrite.com makes some pretty good paint

I received my paint from ColorRite on Thursday and did a spray out this morning. I went the whole nine yards and got the primer adhesive, primer, base, color coat and clear coat. The color is a three stage job requiring the base. I am painting Italian Red, R157. On the spray out I used two coats of primer, two coats of base, three coats of color and three coats of clear. The color is about as close as it can get, and with a spray can. I asked my wife to take a look and she said they looked the same(you know women and colors). This was outside in the bright sunlight. I am very discerning in my colors matching and things looking just right and I would have to say it is a 99.9% match. I held the spray out up to different parts of the bike and it looked great(1998 model). If I can get the actual spray job now to match the spray out I'll be in business. I've got the primer and base on. I'll post some pictures when it's all said and done.

I used their paint on my old liquid silver R6 and it matched perfect. $30 bucks for spray that matches was worth every penny. great for touch-ups too.

Don't forget, red darkens over time with exposure to sunlight, so on a bike that spent a lot of time outside, the color could be off.
