Finally admitting my presence here . Been on the 'new' ride for over a month, 2000 Firestorm w/37k km. Previously owned by a Padre who did all his maintenance and work at the dealership, even replaced the tensioners once. I have since replaced the mufflers and air filter with jets to come. I also have installed LED tail lamp and signals. It's time to look at modding/replacing the tensioners though. New Pirellis will be here this week.
Sure has been a nice ride so far.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you're on the right track with your mods. Take care of the stuff that will cause expensive damage first then keep tinkering!

Makes the bike turn in much better.

 

Just got my abba stand and my tires so that will be next. The next thing on the list is the CCTs. Still not sure which way I am going to go on them; manual, modded or OEM. I am a big guy so I was kind of figuring springs and forks, I had best do some more reading though.

 

Ah a SH in the second fastest, but best looking color.
After you sort out the CCT's and R/R, save your money and replace the rear shock before anything else.
