New UK member! My SuperStormHawkFire
Hi folks, new member here from the lovely mountains of North Wales in the UK. Along with the FirestormUK site, the SH forum has started to soak up too much of my time - thought I'd better join!
Here's my bike - pretty much stock '99

How do I insert a photo rather than it come out as a link?
Whoa Nelly!

Love the colour
P.S. We both know what the fastest colour is don`t we? lol Sadly, our US friends never got this one. I hear the Honda US legal department wouldn`t ok it, fear of lawsuits from the boost in performance.....

Thanks for that lazn. Cheers mikstr - yup the dark blue isn't too common here either, I spent a while looking before I found this one, and the matching Moriwaki cans decided it for me..
I love the color of the cans though!
Welcome Nelly!
I sort of fancied having a custard yellow VTR just so I could call it Dessert Storm. Then I remembered what they look like WN!
Welcome! My wife and I were in Wales in April of '94. We stayed at a sheep farm in Nebo, just a curve in the road so to speak. We had some British friends hosting us over there, he worked for the National Trust at the time. We were somewhat lost trying to find Nebo when I saw an old man walking. I said, "Trevor, why don't we ask that man how to get to Nebo?". Trevor said, "He'll just give us the wrong directions...Welsh trickery".
Well my wife and I found the Welsh people very friendly to us Californians, especially those that climb, as my wife has extensively in the past. They would want to know if she'd climbed in Yosemite, which she has.
Also, an administrator I worked with at school for about 20 years was a nephew of one of your most famous and notorious residents, Joe Brown. We visited his shop in Llanberis.

Yup we have some lovely roads hereabouts, although this chilly winter has taken some chunks out of them. I don't weigh much, so the combination of stock spring and bumpy roads makes for some comedy airtime. Some suspension fettling is high on the list.
VTRsurfer, we're on a sheep farm only a coupla miles from Nebo. Locals are fine, especially if you're not English (or worse, from South Wales). Joe Brown is indeed local royalty and the whole area is steeped in climbing history & folklore - hope you got out between the showers! I've made it to Yosemite once for the Camp 4 experience and will be back - it would be great to do it on a bike..
