New here.... So Hello! :)
Here is the bike I am picking up this week. I can't wait! I have ridden my dad's Superhawk quite a bit and always enjoyed it so I decided it was time for me to get my own.
It's a '98 FireStorm with 51,000 miles on the clock.

Have fun! When my son started riding he was on a CBR600f4 and handled it really well. He has since graduated to my Superhawk and I ride the VFR. Nobody splits lanes like us. When we go - we're gone!
He still talks about going back to the I4's but with every passing day it passes a little more.
When he comes home with a Super Duke, Aprillia, or Augusta, I will get my Superhawk back. Until then, happy trails!

I will be relocating the plate when I get it. I payed $2k for it. The bike came from Europe. It was a woman in the military who brought it back with her and the speedo was changed over to MPH.

Yes, stock CCT's... Not sure if they are the originals or not though.
I am not worried about the mileage on the bike at all though. When I sold my F3 I had put 80k on it and it still ran like new. I put 40k on my SV650S and it was still like new also.

Thanks! I thought it was a pretty good price too. It's in pretty decent shape and doesn't appear to have been too badly over it's life.
I will slowly get her back into the kind of condition that I am used to with my bikes and should get another 50k miles out of her.

Welcome. Congrats on the new VTR!!
All this hand touching the road stuff just doesn't seem, well it's not the best technique I've seen, lets put it that way. What's the point?
I frequent the svrider forum because my wife sports an 02 SV. Were you over there too?
