My Motorcycles are multiplying!!!
Picked up another Superhawk on Sunday, a 1999 Black with 16,821 miles, Double bouble tinted screen, Two bros slip ons, Stg 2 or 3 jet kit, K&N Filter, Lower fairing, undertail kit, tank bra, Dunlop Sportmax GP-A tires with under 1000 miles. It was layed on the right side and has minimal scratches to just the front fairing, but other than that it is very clean and runs great. I got it from the original owner who kept it in a garage.
We worked a trade where I gave him $1200 cash, the RC51 motor and all parts I had for it, and a 1999 R1 fork I picked up for him for $100. The only catch is there is no title.
That makes three superhawks total, minus a motor.
Im laughing because a year ago I didn't have one bike, now I have 7...the three Hawks, Two FZR600's, a Honda NX650, and my brothers 1980 GS1000S.
here's the bike
and some more

Right now in the basement I have,
98 Salvage Frame with '07 CBR1krr Front end mock installed
Bare Hawk Swingarm with 900rr bits ready for welding (that Shawn sold me)
Gotta do the switcharoo with my Moriwaki motor, and get a replacement for my stock rear shock, then most likely that will be my street/another track bike

I'm jealous. A little over a year ago I had 2 bikes and my wife kept sending me subliminal hints to get rid of one. I finally just said "you want me to sell one of my bikes?" She said, "yes, glad you finally got the hint." So we are a 1 bike family now... <sigh>

Sorry to hear about the 2nd bike...did she let you keep your girlfriend though?

Thats what I'm talking about!
Shawn - Hows your shoulder and the Hawk doing? Let me know if you need any of those parts, I have some spares.
This weekend I'm taking the FZR to Summit point main for my first WERA Vintage race. When I get back I'm going to start on the Superhawk swap, which should include the CBR front end and swingarm brace, then I'll be ready to take the hawk to the track again.....well once I get a rear shock in there.

I'm sure there has to be a goldfish effect somewhere in there... you know, goldfish grow to as big as the environment that can sustain them. I don't have room for more than two... in the garage or on the insurance bill

Well i am up to 5
One is hers (SV650S) but she never riders it, so i consider it mine.
One is from college days, CB750F, still like new
One is the attempt to replace the SuperHawk, which is a KTM 950 SM (wife called me and said, hey you wanna look at this bike i found on craigslist you were talking about). Well next thing i knew it was mine
One is an one lung KTM Duke II (funnest bike in the garage)
and last but not least is the tried and true SuperChicken.
County Clerks office and Insurance loves me.....
My problem is i can't seem to part with a bike after i buy it.

A friend of mine just went from 2 bikes to 3. When he did, he qualified for a multi-bike discount on his insurance and his bill dropped 14 bucks a year. So. it's $14 a year cheaper to have 3 bikes than 2. Make sure the wives hear about that.
