My brother has the Hawk but decided he likes the stock seat better. I'm going to GBurg today for the bike event and will take the seat with me. I can leave it anywhere. Please text if you can with an address. 717-668-1070.

I do still have a Gettysburg address. I work in Hanover till 1p, usually home by 2. I'll send you a message when I get home.
You no longer have VTR or access to one?

The bike came to me with 2 Bros slip on and all else stock. I hope to ride as much as I can this year before making a decision whether or not to keep it. I can't see changing anything before next season. Thanks again.

VTR riders do the pair removal mostly to get rid of the lean deceleration popping the VTR is known for when coming to a stop in gear. I don't think it's considered a performance mod, unless you are dyno tuning with an O2 sniffer, the pair valve can mess with the readings I think.

The VFR1200 I'm not familiar with at all, whether it has the same issues caused by the pair valve. I say if it's working fine as is leave it alone. Or you could always take it off carefully and then if anything because a problem because of removing it then put it back on. I'll be up for riding when the weather breaks, you'll have to take it easy, I only have my XT350 road legal right now
