Here she is...

Sorry for the Size - these are the pics th PO did. I bought it Sunday, rode it home 160 miles, and flew out of town Monday morning. She's getting a workout on the commute to the office tomorrow...

it is a stearing dampener, it reduces head shake.

hmm, interesting do the work good. cause i can tell when i launch hard "if i dont wheelie" i can fell the shaking.
it would be kinda nice to be able to reduce that since im going to start taking it to the local dragstip

well superhawks stock are pretty stable, the people I have seen who need them tend to ride very aggressively like on the track. To answer your question though yes if the steering wants shake in a back and forth motion the dampener will help.

Seat is a Corbin with stock cowl over the passenger seat. My seat has a hole for a backrest in it so i should keep mine covered too but I don't. Someone usually posts about the moisture a steering dampener will cause, but nobody did this time!

I like stabilizers for wheelie touchdowns and pavement ripples in the apex.

What moisture problem?

I've been riding twitchy dualsports for the past few years. They tend to shake their head really bad, but I didn't have one on my last street bike, a 919, and didn't miss it.

The only time I get ant head shake is right on landing. Nice clean bike, now you get to upgrade the suspension and brakes. What kind of pipes?

Dampen = to make wet
Damp = to control motion

So it's a steering damper

8541 is right. LV high mounts. Kinda mellow, but I figure I'll give the neighbors a break.

For a while.......
