Basket case bike

Hi, just found this site, thought I'll post a picture of my $800 basket case Superhawk.I didn't realize that the motor mounts were cracked on the engine( that's why it was $800)I had to learn to tigweld in a hurry. It has a VFR800 rear end with a CBR 900rr front end.
Lots of fabricating of shock linkage , exhaust, rear end spacers and brake mounts for Gixer radial calipers. All work was done by myself and it was a good learning experience. It also has dual headlights.

Wow, that was even more work than my $850 2002. DeerShawker just flipped when her PO hit a deer at 60 mph. New forks, plastic, screen, rads, instruments, one bar, one rotor and misc small stuff and I was ridin'. Amazes me what survives some crashes and what doesn't. Welcome!!!
