Wanted: L/R engine case gaskets...left case plug(big one)

I'm looking for the left and right engine case gaskets, one CCT gasket, and the large cap on the left engine cover, the one with 10mm hex socket..

Hoping to find someone here with parts they want to sell, before I place my order with RonAyers....

Thanks
Shane

Shane, I generally use form-a-gasket on the cases. I've had no clearance problems and it holds well. Just be sure to follow the directions to let it set before you tighten things down. I geneally just finger tighten and then leave it sit overnight before finishing.

Just a thought.

That sounds cheaper than gaskets...maybe i'll get some, need to go to parts store soon..

Have you ever used any chemical gasket remover? I've spent at least an hour scraping the gaskets off with a razor, and I still have the left side to do! I might try some if I can find it.

Either way I need to order that big 30mm cap for the left case (don't ask), I might buy the gaskets anyway

I've always just done my best at removing the old ones and leave it at that. the formagasket has always sealed well. just use a relatively small bead of the sealer all the way around or you'll get a LOT seeping out the sides when you tighten it...even after letting it set.
