Arctic Fire.. Formal Intro!
Hi Guys,
Well i finally got the Fiance to send me a pic so I could post it up and formally introduce myself to the group.
I live in Ontario (Kingston or Newmarket, depends on the week!) and work at a Diamond mine just south of the Arctic Circle, in the Northwest Territories. After spending the last 5 years in Vancouver, I have moved home to Ontario to be with friends, family and Fiance. I sold my first bike out there, a Honda Bros 400, before i moved home. The Bros is the Greymarket Japanese version of the Hawk GT. So when it came time to buy a bike in the fall, I went with the only natural progression, The SuperHawk.
My Silver '98 Firestorm has 55,000km on it, but it's been baby'd pretty nicely. I'm new to the VTR, so expect some newbie questions... but I am very resourceful with the Search feature.
So far this Forum has helped me out quite a bit, and everyone seems really helpful and honest. No attitude, which is awsome!
I hope to meet some fellow Ontario 'Storms and get together for some rides!!

Now there's two reasons to like Canada! I've always liked the silver color VTR's. Calitoz has one in Quebec and now yours! Seriously, I have a "to do" list before I die and one is to fish in or around Yellowknife. We went regularly out of Flin Flon when I was a teenager and I've fished in Ontario a couple times. I worked for Manitoba Hydro for about a week (consultant) and worked for the Navy in BC. There's not many things about your great country that I don't like - well except for the length of winter. Welcome to the playhouse and I'm sorry I can't do anything about the length of your riding season!

Thanks for the compliments guys! Kingston when the Fiance is at queens university, and Newmarket whan she is doing her practical part of school. It sucks keeping up two places, but not much of a choice right now.
I am going to polish the lip of the rims this winter, I have read a few threads about it which have been very helpful. Do i need to take the tire off the rim though? maye thats for another forum..
