Intro

Hi....just got signed up...been doing some "lurking" for a while. I just got my VTR in September...nice yellow 01. I'm in Ottawa Ontario Canada and due to the weather here, my bike and I am taking a bit of a break from riding <G> (can't get snow tires locally) The forum is great...got some ideas and some questions answered. My last ride was a Vulcan 1500...ran most of the summer on that....discovered it wasn't for me....I still had a need for speeding thru curves. Ill post a pix in the rides forum if any one is interested.

Welcome aboard; the only good thing about winter, (if you have to deal with that kinda thing), is plenty of time for mods.

Thanks for the welcomes...
As for winter, can't do any mods.....bike is locked up in a shed for the duration. I don't think there are many mods that need to be done though.
Bike has the untertail, hugger, LED turnsignals, clear rear lens with LED lights, two bros pipes, jetted and K&N air filter. Bike came with BT10's on it, rear tire has a few more miles left, already have a replacement Strada for it. I am really happy with the VTR....handles like a dream. Last sportbike I owned was a 93 "gixxer" 1100. Nice bike except it killed my wrists. Had to really work to make it behave through turns.
