Digital speedo / clocks

Has anybody done an upgrade to the speed on a superhawk.
If so what has been used ?
I see kosso clocks on offer.
Has anybody tried these ? Are they any good ?
Any help would be grea before i pay out cash and buy
A pile of crap that does not live up to the job.

I need temp,Fuel warning,Oil,Neutral,Tach and Speedo functions.
Anything else like a honda badge is a bonus.

I think that all of the CBR 600/919/1000RR gauges have been fitted to the superhawk. Fuel may have to be modified depending on which year fuel sender your Hawk has

Hmm could be a problem there would have to talk to the builder to be sure as I think its a mongrel of a system to get the best fuel flow from what honda could supply. thanks anyway I will have a look at them on flea bay

Whoops! I worded that wrong- it's just the sensor that you'll need to modify. I think pre 2002 or something has just a "low level" warning light, and the 2002+ ones have an actual gauge. It's just a matter of swapping out a part in the tank I think. No performance stuff is touched. This is all that needs to be worried about... You may also need a speedohealer (something that will adjust the gauge speed to match that of the bike), but the combo of this plus the gauges will probably be about the same cost of those Kooso clocks, but have nicer Honda quality.

Wiring diagrams are available for all the Honda bikes and you just line up the correct wires in the harness. An added bonus is that you don't need to set up a separate speedo sensor like some of the systems need. Some don't even try to touch the bike's existing sensors, and you set up a magnet on the front wheel to get the mph- which is a whole new set of ugly wires.

Tweety set up 1000rr gauges that look real nice inside the fairings. I'd hooked up some 600 f4i ones, but I'm in a huge rebuild right now and haven't tried them out yet so don't want to confirm of deny their effectiveness yet

There's also the Trailtech Vapor which has most of those functions and gets consistently good reviews.
