I guess for short people it will help, but the affect on handling I don't really want to think about. (it needs the rear raised from stock to handle better)

 

I wanted to at first. I have short legs, and can barely get the ***** of my feet down to the pavement. I rode it for a year, and now there is no way I'd lower it! I got used to it, and I love the way it rides and handles!
