I went to a dermatologist/plastic surgeon about 20 years ago (before CA's helmet law). When I walked in to get some sun damage removed he looked at my helmet and said "oh, you ride a motorcycle". I expected the doctor lecture on the dangers, then he said "well I'm glad to see you wear a full face helmet", followed by "I've had guys in here who were wearing open face helmets and their face is ground off, and I get to fix it".

 

they did a pretty good job with the graphics on that. not too bad. quite true though, those damn roads are pretty hard.

 

That's a Belgian Commercial to get riders to wear gear.

 

Bringing this to the top for those who've never seen it and refuse to wear riding gear. Yes, you need to sign in to youtube to watch it, but it's worth the effort.

 

The BMV should make it mandatory to watch when you sign up to take your motorcycle license test. Might make some people think about ATGAT. Then again, some people think it will never happen to them.
