Umm is this bad?

Found this inside the main transmission shaft with the clutch rod all tore up.

The answer to this question is an obvious "YES". Any metal chunkies like that inside any motor is bad. You need to tear it down and find out where it came from...or just buy another motor. Might be cheaper and quicker that way.
