No offence but how do you know your rotors are warped, as opposed to the stock brake hose pulsating? The reason I ask is warped rotors is not a high failure Item.
If however you've pulled the rotors and put them on a surface plate and checked for gaps then you're right and I apologize.

Apparently...warped disks are a common fault with these bikes! I just found that out after buying a 2006 model with only 5000 miles on it. Luckily the seller replaced them before buying! Aftermarket ones are good..Honda prices are out of the question! and what's the point, they going to warp anyway!!!

OEM front disks wore below tolerances at 50,000, replaced again with Honda disks - 60 thousand and counting still going strong….
Some folk mistake 'warped' disks for seized up floating bobbins.. Just put a nut and bolt through each one and spin them a bit to free them up.

I have a set of brake tech 320 iron rotors that are excellent. However some slight damage from water. I was in Ca and visited with Jeff Gears @ "brake tech" last week. He is planing on running more disc for the VTR but in stock 298mm size. We talked about RC51 or CBR1000 iron 320mm replacements with an adaptor.
Any one interested????? Not cheap but you get what you pay for.,

I guess its common for deposits from pads causing a sensation that feels like warped rotors. Search here, lots of ideas how to cure this. Road 2 or Road 3 for rim protectors. Great sport touring tire

BTW I warped my stock rotors. Actualy it was very easy to do. If you like this bike and want to upgrade change the brakes. Master, calipers,rotors!!! & lines . You'll love this bike! Good luck Frank

So, after owning the bike for a few weeks, you know what the common faults are better than half a dozen guys that are on their tenth year or more of owning one... Good for you... And since you have that much knowledge, start working on the way you deliver that knowledge to the rest of the world... It can benefit from a little fine tuning...
I have swapped warped brake discs for exactly two reasons... One, they plain wore out... And two, they where warped because I left the disc lock in there...
I have however helped about a dozen local riders with sticking rivets for the floating discs, glazed patched due to holding the brake on while properly hot, and a number of other things that make people think the discs are warped, while they are in fact not...

+1, I have NEVER warped a rotor on any motorcycle, and I am DAMN hard on my brakes too. I use both front and rear hard, I trail brake into corners, I do lots of things you're not supposed to do. I like to have a good feel for where the edge of the effectiveness of the brakes are and I go to that point at least once on every ride because I want to always be aware of that point in case god forbid I need to use it for emergency braking purposes to avoid someone killing me because they didn't see me (or because I was being stupid and went too hot into a blind corner only to come up to fast on grandma going redonkulously slow around the corner and I have to brake mid turn to avoid rear ending her because I didn't see her before I entered the corner)

If you check the run out on your rotors with a dail indicator and they are beyond spec, then you have warped rotors. If you haven't used a dail indicator you probably don't know for sure that your rotors are warped. You just know you have a problem.

On my prior superhawk I replaced rotors with EBC pro-lites, decent price and nice rotors.
Here's an example:

On my prior superhawk I replaced rotors with EBC pro-lites, decent price and nice rotors.

If I had double checked I would have saved a bunch of time and aggravation.. Of course at the time I didn't know honda put two nipples on the damn petcock I thought everybody thought I put the vacuum line on the overflow nipple

I rechecked the old rotors I thought were warped. They are not warped!!!! My bad. They are so discolored they wouldn’t clean up at all. I tried to dress them and the color change form heat is there to stay. I guess they got a little hot.
