I've bought a 2016 Triumph Speed Triple S and have decided to sell my 2001 VTR which I've had since April, 2002.
This has been an excellent forum. Thanks to all of you, especially Greg Nemish,Jamie Daugherty, Tweety, 8541Hawk and my fellow Canadians, Jack Flash andmikstr. I really appreciated the help offered, the positive attitude, the international connections and the camaraderie.

Coincidentally, I also just picked up a new triple, a bit different than yours and already very accessorized (still waiting on Shad SH36 side cases, mounts, and rear rack mount for my SH46 top case).
However, I plan to never get rid of my VTR, just too much invested and too great a stead!
