I read an article yesterday about the top speed event at Bonneville and wonder if any of you have attended one of these types of events? There's Bonneville in Utah, the Texas Mile and one in Maxton, North Carolina. One way up north too, but I'm not sure where it is. At the Bonneville event, the author paid $150 to attend, get a safety check and make 2 passes on the salt. They require safety wiring a few bolts and you must have a helmet, gloves, boots and leather riding gear. I'm thinking about making it to Maxton next time they run there. Just for fun. Anyone with previous experience on here?
