T-rex sliders

Quick question...will the T-rex sliders work on an '01 VTR? Wanted to make sure.

Yeah I just put a pair on my 2001 SuperHawk. They look great. They only problem I had with them was threading the slider bolt into the metal bracket they give you to mount onto the frame. I ended up just using a smaller size standard bolt then putting a lock washer and nut on the back side. Other than that they work and look great.

They should work on all Superhawks; there's no difference in the bodywork or frame where the Trex sliders are mounted. I've got 'em on my '99 for over a year now with no problems at all.

I got them on my 99 and they work good on a low side , low speed drop/slide. Don't ask how I know...

Link in my signature shows them mounted, and results from others who have dropped their bikes.

Your link is the main reason I wanted to get them. Thanks!

I crashed on each side on the track late last year (about 70mph on one and 120ish on the other) and they're still in good shape. Good deal, and cheap too. I can tell you that the steel plate they bolt to will bend if you put your bike down hard enough, but you can straighten it back out with an anvil and hammer, and respray.
