Swapping the sub frame/tail

When I take my girlfriend for a ride, she complains that she can't see over me (I'm 6'6") and she gets sick of staring at my back. We've sat on some 1000rrs and a couple of r1s, and she can see over me just fine on those. As much as I'd like to get a second bike, it'd be much cheaper to throw a 1000rr/rc51/etc tail on the superhawk so she'd be sitting up higher. Which tail would be the easiest to swap onto the superhawk?

Pick one they're all going to need major modding.

it's going to be very rare that you'll see right over the rider. just have her look over your shoulder. that's what everyone I know who rides any type of bike has them do other then like goldwing's and luxo harleys

Or you could try lower clipons.

Girlfriend huh? Umm, I'd wait on major mods for her till she's your wife! <jk>

you have to thimk about this one a bit......i am in more of a upright sitting position on my shawk than my 900rr.....so maybe it is your angle of riding....lol...did that make sense??.....but ya maybe try a tailriser or gsxr forks to lower the front end...imo, not a big fan of the "lowered clipon"

Hey me neither but a higher subframe probably means more forward lean than stock also.

Seattle should go down for her. (rimshot)

Screw it... I guess this is a good excuse to buy a 1000rr for next season.

Well, my 1000RR is for sale, but you're in Seattle (still?) and I'm in NY. That doesn't work out so well.
