Firestorm was the name given to the bike everywhere in the world except the US, where it was named Superhawk. The last year or so, Canadian bikes also received the SH designation. Identical bikes except the graphics.

Only difference is that the 05 Titanium Superhawk is the best model to have!

Late model Firestorms have a sweet larger fuel tank and a retarded coded key system (H.I.S.S.), like Ducati.

Firestorms are different

From 1997 the bikes where identical until the 01 upgrade.
The Firestorm got a bigger fuel tank on the 01 model onwards which is a great improvement, the HISS security feature is also good for peace of mind, plus a host of other little improvements.
The Superhawk didn't get the bigger fuel tank (so I am told), but did get the same improvements otherwise.

And everyone knows that the Firestorms are faster, and black is the fastest Firestorm.

here in Bulgaria the Reds are the fastest

here is some wiki research obout the names
firestorm - A firestorm is a conflagration which attains such intensity that it creates and sustains its own wind system. It is most commonly a natural phenomenon, created during some of the largest bushfires, forest fires, and wildfires.
Firestorm - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

while superhawk is a hawk that is superb, pretty simple

and i think that the VTR is no so close to hawls -they are little and fast like an R6 ot 600RR, but the VTR i a big strong Speed train. Someting more like the Firestorm - intesinty, something big and unstopable

We don't have your PAIR emissions system, silly side reflectors, permanently switched on lights and chicken-strip inducing roads.

Km/h vs. mph
Only on continental storms, last time I looked we still had miles here in the UK

Yeah but you all put on negative miles anyway cause you're on the wrong side of the road

Alright Wicky, show that strip.

I used a paint pen because I was curious.... Track day tires don't count either.

You might want to work on that before you start with the "throw down"...... Not putting you down, just saying....

A well set up SH should be able to run with no strips at all with any rear tire except a Q2. Even one of those can be taken well past where you are at...... sorry, just saying.

So with that tire, you can take it all the way to the edge, with no issues. Not saying you should try to do or anything, ride your own ride, but it's no real "challenge", even with stock forks once they are sorted to take the rear tire all the way to the edge.....

Can't find my camera or I'd show you.....

The Superhawk is left hand drive, the Firestorm is right hand drive to deal with the differences of driving on the right in the U.S. versus the left in the UK...

Really! That's the differences...

Okay, I admit it, probably it's just the stickers.

Sorry, Wicky, but it's darned easy... Left side = Wrong, Right Side = Rigth... It's in plain writing...

On a side note, DUI = Prison, prefferably with the key being misplaced...

I assure you I do realize that, but then the joke wouldn't work for the US riders... or maybe you guys on the continent are riding a bike that's dangerous since it was designed with right hand drive!

But I understand if you flop the tires or get the left handed Dunlops everything will work out fine...

aw, c'mon take it with the humor intended...
