I watched you blow by in the video and never look back.
Always been proud to be riding the 996 and my sons friends find it hard to keep up with the "safe old Marine" all day long on their ZR6R's and GSXR's .
In any case they are usually exhausted from shifting a 1000 times in a day of riding.
Catching you in the video passing and watching your twin exhaust disappear....
It was inspiring Brother!

Oh yeah your all set, you gotta put them mods to work! The brake mod makes a great dif too. I didnt do it til after a couple of trackdays so I got to feel the difference. Once u get ur speed up you'll want it. They have a calender on their site, pick ur date early and call them wit questions. Let us know the date, If I'm better I'm there. Hopin to b healed in Sept.
I sold that '07 Gixxer 750 for friend - btw that bike is AWESOME, so light & powerful (has to be 75 to 100lbs less wet than the VTR). But I still luv da VTR.
Anyway - I also did the Gixxer 1000 6 pot caliper switch to my VTR 2 yrs ago, but will need some HH pads for - TRACK Day
Gonna do AMA race then Labor Day Lightning track day on 9/5. NOT booked yet, but will be this week. Will post separate thread when I book track day

Yeah I've never tried the Lightning course yet, looks to be more of a high speed track, not so technical. I've got my parts on order and full range of movement back in my shoulder so I might be ready by then to give it a shot.

Lightning is really nice too. I used to prefer it over Thunderbolt as it's easier to get into a rhythm and easier to learn. Thunderbolt has won me over though. That's saying something because I used to HATE Thunderbolt.

none taken. We all have our own tastes so it's all good. I personally hate it when guys put up vid with the camera on the tail section. I friggin' HATE that!

Normally I'm not a big fan of music over the video neither, but I can't get that song outta my head! I got people texting me "Give it ta me!" I think it goes wit the video, very nice!

I must admit, some vids get real cheesy with the music. Even some of my other vids are kind of cheesy but I thought I nailed it with this. lol
