No he is making them from bar stock.

And has access to CNC machines so cost for him is materials and his time. That's why he can send them to US folks at under $20.
My shop is now a polaris dealer so I'll check my costs on the parts in the morning.

When I looked at offering them from modded polaris parts last year, I would have had to have asked way to much after parts cost and my time plus shipping.

Me again. I can get these at a reasonable price. If I can get at least 10 sets(20 pieces), I can have these shipped to your door for 30$. If we rise to 25 sets, then 25$ will be the price.

Made in brass, and, a perfect replica...just like my thumb screws.

So, to get the ball roll'n, 2 sets are already there.

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
So am I the only one who hasn't broken the choke fittings?

Still have the ones the bike came with all those years ago.....

Never broken mine either. But why wait till it does, and then scramble to find a solution just before a ride. ;O)

Same here. ~37k miles and mine weren't broken. I replaced them because it appeared to be a weak link.

Same motivation for me as mine aren't broken (yet) either.

The rubber 90 degree casing leading to the nylon nut is another area of weakness on these assemblies. I have a second choke cable set that came with spare carbs, vintage unknown. When I flexed one of the rubber sections on this one it cracked easily - I am guessing due to age, ozone, or UV deterioration. Thinking about mending it with sealer type shrink tubing.

Ok my good gents, if things go as planned, I should be good to have these some time next week. At least, I hope. Getting the right CNC to do the job is what may slow down the project.

If moderators have no objection, check for a new thread with pics when they are ready. Then you can storm my PM box with your needs, and I'll have you all hooked on brass.
