so i suck ***** at drag racing
i could not do any better then a 12.2 :
let me tell ya it feels real good going to the drag strip and having the slowest freakin bike there... so anybody else on here do as cruddy as me?

i wish i could have the chance to go to a drag strip. that wold be really fun. you've gotta remember though, superhawks are a little slow by today's standards. the best time ive ever seen on a superhawk was only about a second faster than your time.

10.8 @ 125 in one of the major motorcycle magazines, I forget which one. They had a professional drag racer run it to get that time. Motorcyclist Magazine got 11.35 @ 121 with one of their editors in the seat.

11.57 @ 118. Launching with that much throttle is so counter to what I'd trained myself to do normally so as to keep the front end down... It would take a couple more days at the strip and as was said above, the clutch would get fragged. (mostly due to my ham-fistedness).
