Found a 2001 SH on CL I was interested in pursuing.

Ad says for sale by dealer but no phone number, location, or website was given...seems odd.

I sent email anyway...got reply. Sent another email..next response had a phone number. Called number, left voicemail. Got text response. After a few back and forth text msg's I gave up. Seller would not give exact location and I could not set up a time to look at the bike.

Story should end here but I goggled the phone number...and it came up on the better business bureau with this weblink. Home Page
No rating on the BBB site just address and website link.

What do you think? Anyone every actually buy a bike from them or know anyone who has?

 

I have a hard enough time trying to SELL things on CL, should you really have to run after people and try that hard to BUY something from them? Who owns a dealership and won't even list a phone #? I could never understand individuals who sell things without a # much less a dealer. Didn't see a superhawk on their website but every other Honda seems overpriced anyway, what's the attraction? Think I saw it on craigslist but there are at least 4 others...
