Race Stands

Just purchased front and rear race stands from handyindustries.com I got both stands for 99.00 berore shipping. they seem to be built very well. the rear offers effortless one handed lifting. The front is a little harder to lift the pins that go into the bottom of the forks are at the wrong angle. not terrible as I am just using the front stand for storage + service. I do not know how to attach links yet but use the website above if interested. you have to order them together to get the 99.00 price

Re: Race Stands

Yep thats them but mine have 4 wheels per stand? You might want to look into that if interested Iwould think 4 wheels would be more stable. Now if I could only talk my wife into buying me the air lift + the tire changer+ wheel balancer I might take her on that cruise she always talks about UMMMM!!

I've had my Handy Stands for over two years now. They've held up really well, with the exception of one of the spinning-lock-nuts falling off (some duct tape cured that).

The pins that go under the forks are like that because it's a universal front stand. The real crazy part is when you need to squeeze the front stand's legs in a bit before it will fit into the fork holes.

Re: Race Stands

while lifting the front end for the first time one of the pins must not have been in the fork all the way and slipped out I had the rear stand under the bike when the front wheel fell the bike nearly fell over!! I guess I am still pretty quick and I learned my lesson=pick the front up first
