New Here

Just wanted to say hi. I recently went picked up a 2000 Superhawk. I've been riding inline 4's for a long time and I'm really liking the change to the V-Twin.

Re: New Here

Welcome to the forum. The big twin is a big difference over the inline 4s! My previous ride was a '92 Nighthawk 750...

Re: New Here

So far I put on a Scorpion Dual Exhaust, Steel brake lines front and rear, frame sliders, double bubble windscreen, handlebar mirror, and I'm working on my flush mounts right now. I have the steel clutch line but haven't installed it yet. I'm also sitting here looking at the jet kit right now. I should hopefully have everything installed over the next two weeks.

Re: New Here

Will do. I finished putting the flushmounts on the front but opted for some Mini Stalk Marker Lights on the back. The road I turn off of to get to the house is quite busy and I don't want to get rear ended. I'll post the pics tomorrow. BTW the scorpions sound awesome.

I'm going to try and get the pics posted later tonight. I had a Micro-Economics and Statistics test today so I've been racking my noodle.

Re: New Here

What I hate about going back to school is how old I feel. Talking to some folks from class they said they finished high school in 04 and I told them they were still in diapers when I graduated. Depressing....simply depressing.

I know exactly how you feel, I'm 36 and have some dual enrolment kids that are 16! But it is nice to see some of the young,(over 18 of course I'm sick but not that sick), ones dressed like it's a club or something....shhhh don't tell my wife I said that.

Re: New Here

yeah, my wife already popped me. I was chatting it up after class one day and checked the time. An hour had gone by, told my wife I was talking to the instructor about something I didn't understand

When you go to post reply hit attachments about half way down the page. Then you can browse to get the pic but make sure it's around 800x 640 or so I can't remeber exactly the limit but it's right around there.
