The difference Tweety, is that you have THOUSANDS of posts on here, your persona is well known, your attitude is known, YOU are known on this forum. People know how to poke at you, how you will poke back. YOU know how to use the search function, in the strange occurence that you don't know something about the SH, however, since we know that you have all the bolt sizes of the bike memorized, we know you don't have to search.

This person, this OP, was around 30 posts when he posted this. A new person, a n00b, a newbie. I remember those days. I searched. I read the KB. I read more threads. I got a feel for the bike. Then I asked questions. I still do all these things, how many posts later. It's in how you post and how you ask.

This guy is just being lazy. It's evident in the number posts where there is proof that he hasn't searched and is asking the same old questions.

Even the "which is better" to start this thread has been previously discussed.

So no, no defense for this guy. He's getting what he deserves and what he's gotten before. Like they say, if you don't learn from history, you're doomed to repeat it. He didn't learn from the last tongue lashing, so he's getting it again.

I'm waiting for my replacement R/R, so I'm using a spare from someone. Works well. Bigger than the 2 mentioned. I'd be willing share that info, just NOT IN THIS THREAD.

On a side note... My boss told me today that I wasn't PC... I replied that it took her long enough to figure that out... (I have worked there the last 5 years) She just rolled her eyes at me and went away... I'm not sure, but I think that meant my reply wasn't the one she wanted...?!

Very well justified...simple humble comments/opinions would've worked fine...but nope...people gotta dig it in...thinkin that they're "MEN" and not "BOYS" by diggin into a "wound" ...ie (THIS DRAMA).

Ive searched through about 35+ threads when I first became a member looking for possible things to come that can happen & have happened to people on this site and off for that matter.

I noticed that alot of these threads have quick snide remarks or comments that wouldnt be considered "PC" or there otherwise. If someone (whether CHRISTIAN/HINDU/BUDDHIST or what have you) had the common courtesy to know that myself and others have looked through threads and posts for good info....and get sick of seeing the puns/jokes/stabs and what have you....that it gets very very annoying that people have the audacity to do those types of things in such immature manners...without having to say "You shouldve searched 1st". when in fact ive done tons of searching. But, making sure to ask these questions to see if the senior members have any wisdom into further insight that might lead in the "CORRECT" or "BETTER" direction, so not to swap something out when it could've been a totally different problem in the first place.

So...if you people are to SHALLOW MINDED as to think that being PC or NON-PC is the way to go....how bout using common courtesy toward our fellow man-kind and just be humble before INSINUATING that someone has or hasnt done their homework.... ASK THAT PERSON FIRST before shooting off your HOTDOG WARMER about something you know nothing of.

There are probably over a hundred threads regarding failed regulator rectifiers on this forum. Sorry you have to weed through the various off-topic posts. This isn't ******* Wikipedia. If you can't find what you're looking for on your own then we obviously can't help you and you should seek help somewhere else.
