Alright, no more color argument - But I did answer the pop quiz first, so now I want my prize. Been waiting oh so patiently for a gear indicator...

What exactly are the advantages of the HRC module: Is it programmable? Does it use a different curve? I would assume it likely raises redline (before the spark cut-off takes effet).

Anyone?

adds about 150 hp and stiffens the suspension in A mode. allows you to set cruise control and takes voice commands. ive heard with tweety's tinkering itll even get you a cold beer.

Uses a different advance curve, but the one I had was not programmable.
It also eliminates the side stand cut off circuit.

As for the rev limit, I was told two different thing but never tested it out myself. The first info was that the rev limit was raised to 11K and the other info said there is no built in rev limiter.

Well... Not quite that bad... I didn't unpack it at the post office, and the bike wasn't "prepared"... But I did go straight from the post office to the garage, and swapped it in...

I can confirm the no stand switch, and I can confirm that it does not cut spark at 10300, like before... If it does infact cut spark at 11000 I have no idea, I'm not brave enough to find out...

She's spitting, and popping though, so a re-jet is in order after installation...

Mikstr: Well... I dunno, just lucky, I guess... I keep finding these unobtainable things...

Well, I can reverse engineer cell towers and base band transmitters, so I could probably reverse engineer the circuit, but since it's potted into a box, getting it out unharmed and functional, and getting access o the parts is the problem... And I can tell you with 100% certainity that I'm not going to take mine apart...
