Pilot Power 3's arrived !

Well , I'm in NO rush to mount and try just yet , dealing with minus temps . But Spring is not too far ..
I've been using PP2CT's for quite a while now , supposedly these are the "New Improved " version ..
For all you guys that purchase here in the Great White North , Pete's Superbike has them in stock .

I have a set of them on my RSV...pretty awesome tires, confidence inspiring for sure...someone would have to chime in who has run them on a track for us to get full feedback on em

I put on a set of Pilot Powers last season, a standard front and a 2CT rear. When they were fresh, I was amazed at how well the bike steered and the grip the tires offered. I think I'll be due for a new set in May or June. I've been considering getting another set of Pilot Powers or Q2's or B20's. I'd like very much to hear what you think of the 3's. I live just around the corner from you and probably ride the same poorly maintained roads.

I'm near you guys too. Most of the time I go with Pete's and spoon them on myself.

Picked up a set of Dunlop Roadsmart IIs at the January bike show.

I managed to get out on the bike during that crazy warm spell we had in the middle of the month. I think I'm going to like those tires.

I ran a set of Q2s before that, but the rear only lasted a little over 6,000km... Loaded with a passenger really ate through the rear awfully fast.

I have been sticking with the 2s, the sipes in the 3s don`t inspire confidence (can`t see them NOT having a detrimental effect on handling as well as longevity due to all the flexing, though I would imagine they work well in the rain)....

the pilot 3's were one of the tires I was considering. I went for the BT 023 instead. Very happy with the tires so far but wondering how they compare with the pilot 3 for wear and mileage.

I'm on my second set of BT 023's and they wear awesome but had pilots 2's on my SDR and they were super sticky, but disapeared overnight.Hopefully the 3's are a bit of both!
