NooB is on youTube again
NooB is on youTube again
This is a vid my buddy made this past weekend. It has me on the Hawk riding like an idiot passing a bunch of real life noobs. I'm sure some of you guys will like to freely share your opinions/comments/scoldings... No really, scold away it'll be fun. I posted a comment on youTube with a few points of interest in the vid.

holy high speed road! not much traffic, a lot of bikes, what's up with that? Headin west into the sun? you're doing a good job! I don't like those tar strips when they heat up. Looks like fun though.
Yeah, welcome to Houston. We aren't blessed with terrain like CA is. Our curves come from property lines. That road is the curviest road within a days ride of Houston. While that sucks, there are 5 nice, cheap tracks that host trackdays within driving distance of Houston and three are within an hour.
That road is out in the country so there's not much traffic. Also I'm in Texas so anyone that's not a heathen is practicing being lame on Sunday.
LOL you watched all 12 min... that's why I made the comment with the time links. You guys do realize that the camera wasn't on my bike right? I'm on the yellow chicken in the vid. Wheelies are for squids man. I save the whoolies for the dirt bike. What guard rail are you guys talking about? The little bridge?

yeah, I used to haul air freigt to NY and Chicago out of houston every week for a couple years circa 84-86.
I bought a left over 84 1000cc Interceptor from the Honda dealer near Humble on 59.
I feel for ya in terms of the roads but you have to deal with what you got. Now I understand all the bikes on that road. Good there's no cops out there since the velocity necessary to feel those turns puts you at risk for one of those high speed driving awards. It looks like you were north of a buck most of the time. Let's not show that vid to the local constabulary, huh.
Oh crap... With those roads I'd need even more horsepower... I'd be flat out all the time... Around here, that wide piece of tarmac would have been 2 lanes either way... I just wish you duys could come over here and try the roads here...
