New guy here....

Just introducing myself. Name is Nate, newbie to the whole super chicken scene, but not to bikes in general.

Quick cliffnotes history:
Owned an R6, had it and used it as a daily driver. Got pulled over as a mistaken identity, they thought I was somebody else...I had a blue bike, the guy they were looking for had a red one. Since my license was suspended, I was f*cked and I was forced to sell my R6 for lawyer fees, etc.

This thread (well, 1st post really) explains it as I've been on the R6 board for years...

Anyhow, I'm loving my hawk. I told myself I'de keep it stock, but find the bug biting me again. I'm torn between striping it down to a street fighter, or going in the direction of:

I have a tendancy to overdo things....

That was my car...sold it a couple years back...yes, rice, but it was really just a rolling billboard for companies. It's was infact functional, and back when it was rolling around town, it was responsible for all the parts made on the Cavalier. Also disregard the complete doucheness of that website. I was a stupid spoiled ***** as a fresh outta high school kid....so yeah, things and myself have changed A LOT since those days...

That car pretty much let me build this car up EXTREMELY CHEAP, through sponsorships of the once orange, then pink car.

It was a Turbo ZC Hatchback with nitrous...lol. I didn't mess around. It was a sub 13 second car...I hit 12.9 once on slicks.....but it was fun....destroyed everything on the street, including my license

That's when I got the R6...messed around with it, did a bunch of engine mods to it....then had to sell it later, as read above...

Moved on to aircooled VWs...and started making fun of former ricer self.....

Was going after the GermanLook thing. Basically, Porsche rims, brakes, and other tidbits to make it handle BETTER than a Porsche. I bought rims, and the brakes, but never got much past that....finances got ahold of me...sold it, and it's what got me to my down payment of what I have now...a Beautiful Blue 2003 Superhawk.....

Sorry for the long read....hope it was intresting...

Welcome to the forum !

I bet you will soon want to do an exhaust & jet kit, then upgrade the brakes - SS lines & HH pads

Welcome! Looks like you've had a lot of fun fixing up things on four-wheels. Hope it carries over to two-wheels, too.

Re: New guy here....

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Yeah, today I went to my buddies shop, and he's ready to cut me some deals...but before you can get cut deals, you need to have cash Christmas is killing me.....

But yeah, I'm ready to get an exhaust, jetting and play with some stainless lines and pads....after that, I think I'm gonna stay like that for a bit, considering it's a daily driver...I can't compromise the already weak gas mileage.....

But thanks again for the welcome!!!
