My bike is packed and headed to France
So is the owner !! I Bought an old crate cut it, weld it, drain my tank tape battery terminals, wash the bike for the first time like I will never do again, removed windshield, turn mirrors upside down, wrapped it strapped it, made walls from OSB.
My bike will arrive in France 2 days after me but boat haul is cheap so worth it, I'll get drunk with friends in the meantime. Then I'll start eating some European kilometers yummy !!!

Thanks, but it will really be if the bike make it in one piece. But I'll consider a dent like a souvenir. I'll put stickers of countrys that I will visit, and will try to post pics on the forum.

Thanks a lot for your support and trust me I'll have a hell of a blast there.
It seems that the bike have to be insured for proper custom release, I just hope they will be quick to send the paperwork. A banged up bike could screw up a trip over there, since I had to cut the crate in two and weld it back, there is a weak spot right in the middle, but if they drop it, I'll have something to do this winter lol.
