To remove my forks, I use the rear stand in combination with a floor jack under the oil pan (w/ wood or a rag in between).

Do not buy that stand it isn't what you need. Pit Bull, Vortex or better yet CycleGear. They have a rear stand for under $50 and a steering head stand that's @ 150, that would let you pull the forks.

The fact of the matter is that you don't need to pull the forks to realign the forks. Just search the knowledge base there are several threads on the subject!

I use these.... Front Triple Tree & Rear

The fronts lift from the bottom of the triple tree so you can remove front wheel and such... There are lots of options out there, these work well also.

Definitely go for the triple tree front stand. I had a Woodcraft and it made front end work a snap.

Yes the front on that stand is triple tree mount. You may have to get a differant size pin to fit the bottom of our tree, but that would be fairly easy to make and or adapt to that set. If I remember right I think the T-rex set I bought was about $160.00 new, but you can look at the link I posted for comparison. I know pit bull is nice stuff too.

Thanks hawk, that's all I wanted to know ..appreciate it buddy..okay thanks, I'm ordering the #1 pin right now, is the pin different than the adapter?if so where/what does it look like?im on the Pitt-bill.com website and I found the #1 pin, I don't see an adapter link if anyone can help me out?and these pitbull stands are almost brand new, he bought them a few months ago, sold his bike and been in his house ever since, I don't mind spending money on good stands especially with all the work and things I need to do..my bike came from Europe and needs alot more tlc for having 35k miles, I'm going to give it to her .thank you all for your patience and help..I have listened and followed and learned many things.i can't wait to learn more..
