Thumbs up Motorcycle Lift, No More!!!!!

I gave up on the HF Motorcycle Lift, only to go to HF and find a rearstand for 39.99. Has the pads to use for the swingarm=SuperHawks. Solid construction, and a Hell of a deal, it has adjustable pads, well, they telescope in and out and then lock in place. FYI anybody on a budget. I tried on the front forks, and it did'nt work, I'll get some pics posted.

I bought the HF rearstand a few months ago. Works great. The website says it can be converted to a front stand with 'forklift adapters' that are sold separately, but they don't seem to carry them.

I have that type of front stand for my bike and I can't tell you how many times I've had the wheel off and one fork has slipped off. I'm looking for a good deal on a triple tree pin stand instead.Anybody know where to find one cheap?

My Redline stands use the pins up front. They were about $80 shipped, IIRC. Not as cheap as harbor freight, but I'd rather not have to worry about the front end of my bike falling down, tipping over, and causing hundreds of dollars in plastic damage, just to save a few bucks.

So why did you give up on the lift? Was going to get one for myself. For dirtbikes, not the SH.

Check this one out. This one looks like it might be a little easier to fabricate a triple tree pin attachment for it.

MLB, in person, the lift did'nt look sturdy enough to support the Hawk, I wanted stands all along, but saw the lift in an add, it would have been great for a dirtbike, not the Hawk. The stands are inexpensive, not cheap, I would not put my Hawk up on garbage, I'm sure everyone, or almost everyone on the forum has some sort of budget, I am so far very pleased with the rearstand and plan on adding a front stand soon.

FU Harbor Freight

I just ordered the $39.99 stand with the risky front fork adapters. They shipped the fork adapters and the stand is on backorder. Awesome. BAM! Just killed Mr. Ant on my desk. FU HF.

I have both the stand and the adapters. I have a pit bull in the rear and it has worked rather well. When wrenching on the bike, not even a rock or tilt. I could see if you had the front wheel off though it may get tippy without the extra stability. Definitely worth the money.
Also if anyone is looking for other tools/lifts check these out:

I think most of the coupons have to be used at the store but there may be one near you. Just went there yesterday. It's a big boy's toy store! You go in for one or two things and come out with a dozen.
