Michelin Man is Taunting Me!!!!
Well, Biker2K and I installed the Pilot Roads last week in place of the 8500+ mile 020s.
WOW, what a nice tire! Went for a 300 mile round-trip ride on Sunday with 6 others, a lot of high-speed twisties incuding 3 trips down Route 301 out of Cold Spring in NY. The tires just inspire a new level of confidence in the bike, doing just what I wanted it to do. The bike just falls into turns with little effort.
Chicken strips are non-existant, but the damned Michelin Man on/near the edge of the tire is taunting me.... I need to scrub him off
Now, I have no direct comparisson to the 020s because they were installed 2 years ago with much less experience under my belt... But I can not see a tire being much better than the Roads for my type of riding which consists of weekly commuting and weekend corner carving.

thanks for the feedback. keep us posted on how they last too, ok?
for what it's worth, I am liking the new Dunlop 208 ZR on the bike (not the fancy stuff, just the normal ones.) I will see how they last though.
