sorry guys, i'm looking for a thread that i saw about a week or two ago and i hope i get this all correct but i think "autoteach" was in it and he was talking about the "PLVP" ( i think i have that wrong) because he taught a class about emissions and there was talk on how if you remove it your bike won't lose any power it just makes it cleaner and easier to work on. hope this doesn't sound to dumb. thanks for any help.

 

I think you're mixing a couple acronyms there....

PVLIR has been talked about recently... but

PAIR removal is what you described- here's the sticky. It's discussed quite a bit, but this should start you off:

Well PVLIR is about the vacuum line to the petcock and you need that one for the bike to run.

You might be thinking about the PAIR system which is emissions related.
