Looking for some good riding pants

I am looking for a good pair of Textile- or whatever riding pants with a decent amount of CE armor- not track aggressive armor- but decent for riding around with-

Please help me out with suggestions. and lesser expensive options- I know there are a some ridiculously nice options out there.

Carhartt Men’s Double-Front Work Dungaree, is what im using for street riding(Black).
They have been reviewed by a number of bike mags and are better thought of than standard motorcycle specific jeans for fit and tuffness, if ya want armor where knee/shin guards. They also look good with riding boots (if ya like the pant over boot look).
Only thing i recommend is taking off the rivets at the front legs, it is very easy to do!! Love these pants! anywhere from 35-50 dollars.

Amongst all the other goodies I want for the bike and for riding I am saving up for some AGV sport excursion cargo riding pants. They run $100 but they have kevlar in the butt, hips, and thighs. You can get them in khaki, black, or cammo

After 20+ years of riding experience (no disrespect to the above), I have found that Firstgear makes some VERY quality gear.
http://www.firstgear-usa.com/

Give the link a click or head on over to fleabay and do a search. You wouldn't be disappointed in their stuff. (no, I don't work there)

I'm no track rider and probably never will be, so I like for my pants to be something I can put on, hop off the bike and go to the bar, movies, wherever and not look out of place like you might in say something like leathers. Armored leather will give you the absolute best protection though, but you will A) pay out the *** for it, B) look kinda funny in them everywhere but on the bike
