Installing the APe's now 1/2 done

I decided to go ahead and change them, got the RT mark set, lobes facing each other (which took me about 4 tries cause when the RT Mark came back the lobes were not facing each other) got the cams zip tied and getting ready to remove the Rear CCT. i think I CAN DO IT

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
When you go to do the front just remember there is a "F" mark and a "FT" mark. Make sure you are on the "FT" mark.

Man, best of luck. I have had my manual APE's sitting in the closet for the past year. Either too scared to attempt it or to dumb to realize that the stock ones might fail

hey guys question, i let the bike run for a bit, you cant really hear it, but if you stick your head up real close, its sounds like a very faint knocking sound. is this normal?

It is for me. Maybe ticking sound. Let the bike come up to operating temp, then adjust the apes. Doing it at temp and running you can tell when the noise goes away. There will still be a slight bit of noise when you first fire the bike up and it is cold but when it warms up it will go away.
