It CAN be rekeyed, but my locksmith which I use most every month so I get decent rates, chargers $95 to disassemble, hand fit a key and reassemble.....ANd I've found sometimes the ock never works as well or as smooth as it should.

You can get a new lock set from the oem LOCK SET 35010-MBB-A20 unless you have HISS theft protection system which came on some non US markets later year VTR's , then you need the lock set and an ECU.

Or buy a used set off someone parting a bike, ebay, ect https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...temCondition=4

Do you have the ignition on it? If so you can use the code under the gas cap and make a key by computer. The gas cap is pretty easy to pick by a locksmith so you would just have to take the tank to him. (this is how I did it when I lost my only key)

Oh and promise that it is not a stolen bike. You can't be posting for that.

EDIT: You can just go on ebay and buy the lock set from China now for $25.

Don't know if this will help you, but I wrote up my adventures in ignition switch replacement with one of those cheap $25 ignition swap sets on eBay.
